Claims are typically processed and filed within 24 hours of receipt at the Billing Center. If a claim is delayed for more than 24 hours (due to errors or other issues), we will notify you in writing immediately with the reason for the delay.

Yes! It is vital to your practice that we receive this information, so that we can enter the insurance carrier’s payments and generate the necessary patient statements for those accounts which still may have a balance due.

Our fee is a percentage of all collections (insurance and patient payments) associated with claims we bill. For current claims, you pay us a percentage of all collections. For old claims (existing prior to the agreement), you pay us a percentage of all collections on those outstanding claims. A monthly minimum service charge applies.

Yes. We generate patient statements for any remaining balance after insurance payments. Statements are generated in PDF and sent electronically FREE to patients monthly. If you prefer that we mail physical statements, an additional fee applies.

The agreement is in effect for one year, continuing month-to-month afterward. Either party may terminate the agreement by providing 30 days’ written notice. If you terminate the agreement within 6 months of its inception, a cancellation fee for set-up costs applies; however, this fee is waived if the Provider purchases the Billing Center’s EHR software system for use in your clinic.

The Provider receives payments directly from insurance companies and patients. The Billing Center is compensated by invoicing the Provider monthly for the previous month’s services. We do not have access to your bank account or funds.

The Billing Center agrees to keep all patient and practice information strictly confidential and uses appropriate safeguards to prevent unauthorized disclosures. We operate as your Authorized Agent for billing purposes and comply with all HIPAA Privacy Requirements. We perform data backups on-site (in a fireproof safe) and remotely every 4 hours.
